Pediatric ER: Emergency Care Just for Kids in South Metro Denver

Swedish Medical Center offers after-hours urgent care through our Pediatric Emergency Room, designed to give children and parents expert attention separate from our adult treatment areas. Our Pediatric ER is staffed by a pediatrician and a pediatric physician assistant certified in emergency medicine.

Pediatric Intensive Care in Denver: High-level Health Care When Your Child Needs it Most

If your child needs more than routine medical care, Swedish's dedicated pediatric team is available to help him/her get back to good health. As a Level I Trauma Center, Swedish is prepared to care for all types of adult and pediatric injuries. We even have specially equipped pediatric-trauma rooms, as well as board-certified pediatric intensivists on staff to treat the most serious injuries and illnesses.

We offer an 11-bed pediatric unit with a team of pediatricians and registered nurses who are all highly experienced in caring for kids of all ages. We also have a six-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) that is designed to give extra attention to the kids who need it most.
