Mended Little Hearts

If your child has been diagnosed with a heart defect or heart disease, you are not alone.

Mended Little Hearts (MLH) is a nationwide support group for families and caregivers of children with congenital heart defects and heart disease. MLH members have all experienced the pain, fear and triumph of having a child with a heart defect or heart disease, and understand the importance of providing support to others who face similar situations.

Support for Heart Moms

The stress of dealing with a life-threatening diagnosis is difficult and can be overwhelming for parents especially for the mothers who often times blame themselves and carry the entire burden of caring for the sick child. That is why stress management and good self-care must be part of the plan for a healthy recovery for both the child and mother.

Individual coaching will provide and identify each mother’s specific stresses, responses and body symptoms. A custom plan will be developed for each mother to reduce stress and practice good self-care.
