Clinical Trials for Childhood Cancer

We participate in a full range of clinical trials and institutional cancer research studies. Clinical trials employ promising new drugs and treatment modalities. These clinical trials are created by committees of recognized experts in the field, including members of the medical center's medical and nursing staff, and are rigorously reviewed prior to enrolling patients by the National Cancer Institute.

In cooperation with their surgical research partners at The Denver Clinic For Extremities at Risk at P/SL, Rocky Mountain Pediatric Hematology Oncology and the Pediatric Cancer Center at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, our collaborative team designs and conducts institutional cancer research studies in a number of pediatric and adolescent tumor types, including osteosarcoma, Ewing's sarcoma and soft tissue sarcomas.
