Parents, Please Ask Us Questions
At RMHC, we encourage parents to ask questions about tests, procedures or medications given to their child. Any concerns should be asked and answered by your child's nurses or doctors.

Children who have complex surgery or need to be hospitalized due to serious illness or injury often are cared for in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Within the RMHC Family of Care, we have two PICUs where we provide the highest level of care for your child.
Our PICU medical team provides comprehensive care and monitoring 24 hours a day, seven days a week by our board-certified pediatric intensivists and nurses who are specially trained to care for the sickest children in the hospital.
Your child's nurse is intimately involved in the minute-to-minute care of your child. Respiratory therapists, physician and occupational therapists and pediatric pharmacists also may be part of your child's medical team.
