Physical Therapy

Whether your child has trouble with motor skills as a baby or is recovering from a sports injury, the physical therapists at the Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine program at RMHC at P/SL can help.

Physical therapy helps people gain strength and movement after an illness, injury or a developmental delay. Physical therapy can also help prevent permanent damage and recurring problems.

Physical Therapy Rehabilitation for Kids

  • Balance and coordination (clumsy or falls down a lot)
  • Developmental delay of motor skills (rolling, sitting, standing, walking)

Meet Our Physical Therapists

Azull

Kristy Azbell MHS, PT, PCS

Kristy Azbell received her bachelor’s degree from Washington University in physical therapy and her master’s degree from the University of Indianapolis also in physical therapy. She is currently working on her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Colorado. She is certified in pediatric and infant neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) and is a pediatric certified specialist (PCS) with the American Physical Therapy Association. She has worked extensively with children of all ages and diagnoses and has a background in adult and adolescent orthopedics and sports medicine. She enjoys skiing, playing volleyball, running and biking. She has run the Chicago Marathon twice, and spent one summer on a bike trip across the country.

Jeff White

Jeff White PT, MS

Jeff is a Colorado native, born and raised in Loveland and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1991. He then received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver in 1995. He is currently enrolled at the University of Colorado Denver in the Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program and anticipates graduation in December 2012. Jeff comes to RMHC at P/SL after having had experience in adult and pediatric home health physical therapy, orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation at sub-acute rehabilitation facilities, and owned/managed an outpatient physical therapy practice from 1998 until 2007, where he worked with clients of all ages. He has a passion for quality of care and seeks the best outcome for each child that he encounters. He has been married to his wife, Renee, since 1991 and has 2 children, an 18-year-old son named Brandon, and a 16-year-old daughter named Lynnette. When not working, Jeff enjoys backpacking, golf, skiing, bike riding, construction/woodworking, and church related activities.
